WalangPasok on February 9 and 10, 2024, in celebration of the Chinese New Year
Pursuant to Proclamation No. 368, s. 2023, February 10 is declared a special non-working day in observance of the Chinese New Year celebration, also known as the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year.
This day marks the beginning of the Chinese lunar calendar. Moreover, under Proclamation No. 453, s. 2024, February 9 is declared an additional special non-working day to allow the public to fully celebrate the Chinese New Year and maximize the extended weekend.
